So I was trying to merge onto a 3 lane street this morning when I got rear-ended by young lady in a 4 door Toyota Corolla.
I guess she tapped me between 8-10 mph. Spilled my Starbucks in my cupholder. So I pulled up aways into a parking lot and got out to take a look. At first glance, I thought I had imagined getting bumped because I couldn't find a single scratch. It should have been easy to spot as my H3 is covered in salt and dirt/mud from the roads here in western PA.
However, upon closer inspection, my LSU Tiger trailer hitch cover was busted off and the remains shoved deep into the hitch. Ohhh, the pain. I loved that hitch cover. :jump:
She finally pulled into the parking lot behind me, apologizng profusely for running into me. We walked around to the front of hers and...............ouch. Trailer hitch left a nice 6 x 8 inch drag mark on the top of her hood, which had a nice dent pressed downwards in the front. It also crumpled backwards about halfway up the driver's side, causing it to raise up about 3 inches. The worst part was her driver's side headlight was shoved in about 4-5 inches...........into the radiator :( . The driver's side blinker still worked, although it was hanging by the wires down by the wheel.
Poor girl.............:OWNED:
