Completely invisible bass upgrade! The compact H3 has been a huge success thanks to its combination of style, utility and substance. Our Stealthbox? for the H3 achieves the same goals by seamlessly integrating into the H3?s hatch without sacrificing any cargo space. The only thing you lose is the weak factory bass. This Stealthbox? houses a JL Audio 10-inch subwoofer in a compact sealed enclosure that installs inside the H3?s driver side hatch trim panel. You can still carry all the gear you want and no one will know it?s in there (until you let them listen to your system).

THE HARD DATA:
Contains one 10W1v2-4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 150 watt power handling. Wired for 4 ohm mono. Replaces factory Monsoon? subwoofer located on the driver?s side behind rear storage panel. If the vehicle is not equipped with the Monsoon? subwoofer system, you must purchase a new driver side rear trim panel from GM parts in order to install the Stealthbox?. Will not fit Hummer H2 or H2 SUT

New panel = $$$ im sure:(

It would be cool to add if you dont have the monsoon,It might just fit in the cubby hole.

My eclipse is good but could use heavier bass.

Here are the installation instructions. Not to bad, but a bit lengthy.

This is a great way to get more bass without a box in the cargo space or modifying any rear panels. Does it need it's own amp? Or just plug and play?

This is a great way to get more bass without a box in the cargo space or modifying any rear panels. Does it need it's own amp? Or just plug and play?

these are from teh instructions:

Run speaker wire from the amplifier location to the
Stealthbox® and attach to the terminal.

JL Audio recommends using a high quality amplifier such as the JL Audio a2150.

so based on that i assume you gotta get your own amplifier and mount it remotely. so it doesnt need an amp but it would be better with one. if you dont want an amp looks like plug and play (electronics wise). the mounting seems different or something. still pretty good though, i might make the switch.:excited:

That sounds a little steep for a sub and a box. Definitely has been moved down on my wish list.
