Does anyone know what the price would be for a friends and family discount on a base H3.

Does anyone want to share an authorazation with me?

Thanks,

I think that's the price on the H3 Alpha. 2007 Models come in around 7,995.00 (canadian) :giggling:

I think the friends and family program ended, but if you can get someone to give you an authorization number you can buy at gm supplier price.

Supplier price is a few hundred under invoice much like what Costco is giving; however GM supplier has special lease rates.

I went today to look at whats out there, Gawd!!! I was attacked by hungry sales people... I walk out when the offered $22500 for my 3.

Good luck Pewter, that will prolly be the best way to go. No haggle!

Take list price and subtract 17 % if you order in a new vehicle, otherwise for in stock vehicle I'm not sure.

The differences in prices for ordered or in stock vehicles went away when GM dropped the designation GMO (years ago), and everyone kept calling the GM employee discount GMS. (GMO=Ordered; GMS=Stock).

As for the original poster asking for a GM employee to "share" their authorization; the answer from this GM employee is NO; you are NOT my relative.

Ouch.... Cheer up F5, think of giving the codes as job security. Just wait for someone with some more posts though. Perhaps someone who may be looking at Jeeps because he can't get a gmid, maybe someone trying to sell their white h3 now as well. :giggling:

Don't you still get 1 per month for any potential buyer? Or has everything changed again?

You have to be a costco member, and depending where you live, there might not be a hummer dealer participating in this program. With this program you get a predetermined discount, no haggling on price, just on everything else! Have fun!

Hey that Costco thing sounds good. I've had that for a couple years, I always assumed it was rental car discounts... guess I should have read it!

If you live near a major metro area you will do better wearing the dealer salesperson down then at costco.

You should be able to buy at factory invoice (except the coming alpha) on a H-3 without dealer options minus any incentives.

If you deal (live) in the sticks (boonies) take your tube of vasoline with you when you visit any dealer that doesn't have any close competators.

Avoid dealer add ons. High profit item for dealers. If you find after a while you want an item then shop around...

like everything else costco, there are no real bargains, the costco auto discount doesnt come anywhere near the gm supplier discount. go to the hummer forum on one of the general car boards. plenty of nice gm people will offer you a supplier discount authorization. i got mine on edmunds.com. when you get the vehicle you credit them with your dealer for the sale/lease. :beerchug:
