It will become my trail dog for sure. The chrome isn't really my thing, but the luxury package caught my eye cause I did want the leather and the monsoon which absolutely rocks. I'm enjoying the 5 speed already. I'm looking forward to testing out the adventure package soon. Thanks for all the compliments and more pictures are soon to follow. Sorry about the pics, they were just snapped real quick at the dealership.

Good to hear it. I like the Lux package w/o the chrome, I just don't think I've seen a rig with that setup. They're usually packaged together.

Now go get it dirty. :D

Thanks again for all the compliments. I am very very pleased with it so far. No reason not to be though. I can't wait to take it on the trail. Does anyone have the same option combo on the board?

Does anyone have the figures for the sales of base vs. luxury vs. adventure and then the combo of both is? Obviously I would imagine the base are the most popular. I was just curious to know.

How many miles are the stock Bridgestones good for?

What are some worthy mods you guys would recommend?

Here is my list I plan on eventually...

Lift
Wheels
Tires
Hi-lift jack
Tow strap
Line X'd front grill
Heavy duty torsion bars
Indexed torsion keys
Winch mount
Winch
Roof rack
Lights
Drop in filter
Skid plates
PCM tune
And I'm sure some unwanted trail dents/dings.

Like what? The keys and skid plates? Nothing is for sure. Those are just things I thought of off the top of my head. What does everyone recommend?

Lift not needed but if you must 2 in max. you will stress the drivetrain with a chance your warrenty will not cover the drivetrain.
Wheels
Tires 35's max
Hi-lift jack
Tow strap
Line X'd front grill no matter what they say, no peals in time
Heavy duty torsion bars not needed unless your in the 1% club
Indexed torsion keys just crank a bit
Winch mount
Winch
Roof rack
Lights
Drop in filter let's in too much dirt, snakeoil
Skid plates bust yours first. it's tough
PCM tune warrenty issue and you think they can do it better then gm. causes problems trust me!
And I'm sure some unwanted trail dents/dings.[/quote]

opinions only based on what I have seen. there are some hard core people with little mod and others with tons it's up to you. get air compressor, underbody protection, rock sliders, and some of that other stuff. be careful about weight. if it really is not needed don't stick it on the rig. The H3 is sensitive to the extra 300 lbs in grear your listing. If it is a daiy driver you will loose MPG, and any aceleration with roof and lift and 35's.
Go balls out man it's a HUMMER!

Gotcha man. Nice vid. I guess I was just getting excited with being a new owner and all. I see what you mean about them being not worth it though.

Thanks for the assistance.

I just need to get in the "less is more" mindset and keep that money for petrol.

So if you guys had to recommend useful mods, what would they be?

just checked your pic again , you have a great start if you want to go bling-free . just line-x the grille and paint the wheels black and black out the emblems .

Thanks again for all of the compliments. I do not think I could be happier with it.

Bling free is the way I want to go with it.

For the tires, what do you recommend? 315's?

Where should I look for underbody protection and sliders?

Been off road twice already. Very pleased but have not tackled anything too hairy yet. Both times at the land where they build the optimizer 6500 engine for the hummer military applications. I'll have to remember the camera next time.
