Could be flea bites. Nothing worse than fleas under the sheets with you while you sleep. They have nothing to do all night except chomp.

Hard to tell. It's either a leg or an arm that gets dramatically slimmer.

I don't know what kind of critters are in TX.

When I was a young girl, my mother made me bind my feet so as to look more desireable.

Those buggers live in the crypto. If you hadn't stepped all over it you'd be fine. :giggling:

First of all, what part of your leg is that? LOL :D

It looks like your typical mosquito bites to me.

Chiggers are smaller and closer together, tho I cannot quite get the scale from your... whatever that is. Bedbugs, I dunno, but you can look for them in the crease near the edge of your mattress- and that's gross. They are tiny and bunch up there in the day.

Get some cortisone cream for your itchiness. Denver People, I swear.:D

Here's some perspective.
One of the these trips to the hallway, somebody is going to catch me taking pictures of my legs. It's not easy to do with a camera phone. :D

On a side note.....

While doing some googling to become my own web MD.... I did find that some people consider the word "Chiggers" to be derogatory. It's slang for the product of a Chinese person and a Black person.

Definitely not. They itch way too much.

Definitely not. They itch way too much.

Chiggers almost always bite under some kind of tight clothing, like socks, or, if the case may be, underwear. In my experience in chigger-infested central Kansas, they almost never bite on open skin. So, unless you were wearing a speedo thingy, it's probably not chiggers.

If they itch really bad they could be red ant bites.

In fact, I think I need a picture of the genital area to rule out a more serious diagnosis.

I'll put some in the woodshed.

But I checked out my abs and, luckily, everything above my waist is chigger-free.

So it's all I can do to not itch these things. I'm not at home, so I don't have medication and it's too hot to drive 3 blocks to the WalMart here. So, I put on some of my dog's antibiotic cream. We'll see what happens.

could be the bite of the north mexican carlymarbus fly. Has the flesh started falling off the bone yet?

Seriously, when we were at Sanibel Island in Florida they had these bugs called Noseeums. Some kinda tiny little blood sucking vampire insect that gave you bites that looked like that and itched like there was no tomorrow. From what I can recall the scratchfest lasted about 7 days. Do you have a first aid kit? those crack open sting kills worked for us.

They still itch. I mean constantly, all day, everyday, no break to the itching.

I've been holding out so far. But if this keeps up another day I'm gonna go balls out and scratch these friggin things until I reach bone.

DOn;t they have Urgent Care locations down there. Or is the TX way to skin yourself with a buck knife and suck out the poison? I hope you bring back a cool belt buckle. I expect to see a new one next weekend!!!

Chiggers, get 'em from walking in tall grass in infested areas. Scratch em till they bleed ,then put nail polish on spot. Problem solved.:crying:
