here are some pics the dealer took before I bought it. I've never driven the I5 so I cant say how much more power you'll realize with the V8 but dayum it's a hoss.

thanks for the congrats guys. the silver bumpers are different but I think it adds to the "lines" of the body style verses the same bumper in black. it's just a matter of taste I guess. Happy Hummerin'

I agree with Sewie about the bumpers. It's not a dig on your rig though, and I don't think anyone else is trying to insult it either. The thing just looks "softer" than the old style, less rugged. It isn't, just looks that way to me. I don't think they gave up any approach angle.

I don't like the new bumpers on the H2 either. I think they are designed to not ride up and over any vehicle you collide with in an accident.

The bumpers on the 08 H2's are exactly the same as the ones on the prior years they are just painted silver instead. I photos of my 06 with my 08 and they are exactly the same. Just painted a different color.
