Nephew calls me today to tell me he just found a revolver.........

He frames custom homes and was out on site at an older house in the Cherry Creek District somewhere. New owner is ripping down the house and building on the foundation...........

so my Nephew is taking down a concrete wall and in the process they find a old REVOLVER "framed" or "incased" into the concrete. Said it was taken apart in two pieces, and stuck in the concrete...........

Just got me to thinking why on earth someone would have their revolver hidden in a concrete wall of their house......http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/images/smilies/confused.gif

told him to contact the local police and see if they would like to have a look......

Thought it was interesting enough to post here......:beerchug:

100% sure that revolver was used for some shooting. Possbily killed someone in the house with it years ago. Being that it was disassembled and placed into a concrete wall is enough proof. I wonder if law enforcement would be able to do any forensics to tell if it was involved in a criminal act.

Keep us posted Moonie:beerchug:

It is about two blocks away from Hopa (sushi).....downtown Cherry creek area.

So Chris (my cousin) comes to my house last night and has the gun. Very old, .22 revolver......very small..........

Pretty interesting. He hasn't contacted the police yet but he is going to just out of curiosity. I told him to get me the exact address so I could google for fun also. The gun was in two pieces and had been there for quite some time..........
