I received an invitation from my dealer, McGinnis Hummer, to a sponsored Off-Road trip to Old Glory Ranch near Wimberley, Texas. I expected that it would be rather lame, but it was a lot of fun. The lunch provided was from Salt Lick BBQ, some of the best BBQ in Texas. The guides and spotters from YourOffroadAdventuresInc.com were very professional and helpful.

After lunch, the guides offered to take folks on a more advaced course. It had a really steep incline that we went down, that I couldn't believe that it could be driven without rolling.

A fajita dinner and door prizes were held at the relaxing River Pub in San Marcos.

Thanks for a great time McGinnis.

Glad you had fun, but I'll add this to one more reason they have not made me happy, they are my dealer as well, I was the first person to order rocker protection for my H3 they used to call me with questions about the H3 off road in real world situations and places to go off road but I've never got an invite for a dealer event or hummer happening and when in the shop I've been less than impressed with the service or ability to make repairs right the first time or at all. sales people were great but will never buy from them again:rant: does look like fun though:beerchug:

Since buying my truck from McGinnnis in 2004, I have gotten several invitations each year for off-road events, ball games, etc. Have you asked them why your name is not on the list?

Have you been giving them bad grades on the customer satisfaction surveys? If so, maybe they have "black listed" you.

I had been giving them good grades so they wouldn't look bad up until the last time when I had 4wd and locker trouble and they gave me directions on how to use my 4wd and told me I must have been using it wrong after that I let it all hang out on the next survey so maybe I have been "black listed"

Dude...breath mint? :giggling: Just kidding. It could be worse, your dealer could sponser an event where you cruise to a fricken football game!

This dealership we're talking about does that too.
