As of yesterday driver seat will not move any more. Checked fuses and knobs on side.
All were okay, that is there is juice (current). Took H2 to (GMC)dealer, who thinks it's the motor under the seat, which will be replaced under warranty (next week). Any one has/had same/similar problem?
Other than those electrocuted by driver chair, because H2 wasn't taken off road yet?

Nope! No problems here. My seat works well even under the stress of holding it's over weight H2 owner every day. Is there a weight limit for a drivers seat? Guess we will find out soon enough... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifC

NO PROBLEMS HERE, OTHER THAN THE PLASTIC CAPS THAT FIT OVER THE REAR RAILS GET KICKED OFF BY REAR SEAT PASSENGERS.

I have had my seat apart about 5 times now tearing the cover off and reworking the padding to get it just right. There are 4 connections under the seat, two right up front and two attached to the seat controls. There is one connector at the rear for the heated seat. Your the first person I know that has had a frozen seat.

Had a "small problem" with the seat. Unfortunately when I had my alarm installed the wizards at the alarm place forgot to put the rubber boots that run from the door to the frame back on, yes on BOTH sides, and when it rained a few weeks ago here on the East coast, water made it's way into the car. I'm talking flood damage here, so bad the seat controls failed, but I'm sure that is not the same problem you're having. Had to replace the rugs, padding, 2 modules, 2 harnesses, etc, to the tune of $ 2,200.00. My wonderfull alarm guy just lost all of his profit and then some, that will teach them to put things back the way they found them !!!!

Welcome Radioman!

Take a look at the "Local Events" section -- a few of us are getting together on Sunday the 22nd for dinner. It's the "NY area dinner" thread or something similarly titled. We'd love to welcome the newbie! No hazing, I think.

Found solution under FAQ # 13. My seat heater/memory seat is inoperative, what is the possible fix? Thanks and end of thread!
