I was Hummin' along today when I pull upto a stop light, the guy next to me unrolls his window and tells me my front headlight is burnt out.
Isn't the D.I.C. suppost to tell me things like that? Anybody else have a burnt out headlight and not being informed by the onboard computer?

I noticed mine in a building reflection. No information on the D.I.C.

I had a bad head lamp once, no DIC info. I don't think DIC does anything like that, I never read it anywhere in the manuals, and I don't think any car does that.

You are right, me forgot.
My Jaguar does that, I cannot remember if MB and Cadillac do that too, think so. That's actually pretty common and elementary and old tech.

My wife has the 03 MB E class and according to the manual if their is a light out it will activate the next closest light to it for safety. I have not pulled any bulbs to see but it sounded great.
