Well, I traded in the 06 H3. Looked around for months for another 5speed. With the whole GM bankruptcy, sale, issue looming, I didn't want to order one and not know if would be built, or when etc. Found this used truck with 1200 miles.
Am looking for a gas cap lid. Dealer said the T is different than the H3's. That's why I was looking for a part # last week on here.
Just doing my part to keep Hummer afloat. ;)

So, how do you like the auto as compared to the manual you had on the 3? I have the manual and i love it! I have had a couple of loaner 3's from the dealer that were autos and they were okay. Just curious to see if you think the manual or auto was better offroad.

I liked the manual better, just having the ability to put it in the gear I want. More for fuel efficiency I guess. The auto is fine though. I'm pretty easy on it. I?m doing a few tests for mileage efficiency. Tank 1 ? just drive it (tailgate up). Tank 2, keeping it under 70mph and having the tailgate down.
The 3T has the 3.7L engine. I do feel a little more power when I need it which is nice, compared to the 3.5L in my '06.
Slant back is order. :) It was going to be a $750 shipping charge to NY, so I said I'd take a drive to St Louis to pick it up. Probably about $200 in gas round trip. Plus a day in St Louis. Maybe sample some beer at the Bud plant. See a Cardinals' game. The sales guy was talking to his manager and said he'd try to find me some tickets for a game if I wanted. But I have another connection so I didn't take him up on the offer. But it was appreciated. Should be making the trip at the end of April. Will post some more pics when it's on.
I thought about bigger tires. Doesn't look like there's room for a bigger spare underneath. What would you do if you got a flat in a 35" and only had a 33" spare? :)
Mbdoug, if that?s the part # for the gas cap, thanks!

With a couple rest stops, its about a 17 hr drive, one way from NY to St Louis! Got a hotel, got the cap installed, saw a Cardinals game, had dinner, drove home. Averaged 70mph and averaged 17mpg.

THe truck feels noticably heavier now. More weight in back. Which I thini I;'ll appreciate come winter time. So now you have the change to have me take pics of anything you want on the cap.

Have a nice drive 442. It's a little boring going out Rt 70. But sometimes uneventful is good.

here are two more pics. After the game I was comeing back to the truck, and two guys were taking a picture of it. They said "Awesome truck".

Nice Rig & Cap. Regarding the fuel door...

When mine came in they shipped the h2 type. Wrong fit. However with a little grinding and some epoxy. Good to go for 4 years! So you never know sometimes in a pinch...

You wouldn't do that to your pride and joy.:D
