Ok im hooked!! I was deciding between an 2008 H3 Alpha with 13000 miles and a Jeep Unlimited with about the same miles. I made the right choice!!! I love this ride! I am posting the "before" picture with no customizing. I am not sure what I will do first. Any suggestions for a first modification?

Wow! Nice truck! I'd get some sort of roof rack, i recently got one for my H3 and it gives it a "finished" look. Good luck and have fun customizing it!

Sweet Ride!
Mods, there are so many! Roof Racks, Brush Guard, Steps...or if you are more of an offroader, than maybe some rock sliders, bigger tires, etc.
nice man! i like the white, haha. Leveling kit and 315-75r16 tires. that's always a good place to start.

congrats to new ride! mods...I'd first remove the chrome stepbars. Do you have adventure package? if not, then the next step would be tires, 33" or 35" (as suggested by Rred).. if you don't plan extreme off-roading, 33's are fine, don't require front leveling, and you won't lose any street performance at all..

Thanks so much!! I was thinking tires also. I wont be doing any extreme off-roading so I am thinking 33".

even if you're not doing too much aggresive offroad, I'd still think about 35's simly because of look. Not to mention, if you do take your rig offroad, you're going to love the extra room. I mean with 300hp and 320ft/lbs of tq why not?
However, first would be a k&n air filter.

Cool truck, gotta love that V-8. I would go with the larger tires and I get a ton of use out of my roof rack. I would then black out all the chrome and you are done, but that is a personal taste thing. I have seen some white H3's that have had the chrome and wheels blacked out and they look great. My truck actually came with the chrome appearance package.

Congrats, nice Alpha! I think my first mod would be a backup cam (if you don't already have one installed). I have one on my Hummer and would be lost without it. Several companies makes wireless ones now with the camera that you just bolt on with one of the license plate bolts.

even if you don't want to do any serious off roading. i think the 35's make the truck. the toyo allterrains or the new goodyear duratracs are good tires, and unique. the goodyears are a great all purpose tire from what i've read. i highly recomend the blistien shocks off of the trail duty site. i've used ranchos and others, but i'm really happy with the blistiens. and if you change your tire, pcmforless.com will reprogram your unit for a fair price(about 150 i think). of you can buy the actual programer for about $300. it'll give you good shift points, calibrate your engine . . .
