I love it up there, though I haven't been for awhile. Looks like you had a nice trip.

Honestly, I'm not sure. Last I heard, The Donald hated "The Freedom Tower". Then took over the project. I think we will see very soon the final design.

I have never been to NYC, and here I live so close. I cannot wait to check it out.

I am about an hour out of the city. Right about the center of Long Island, yet I haven't been in there (sightseeing) in years. I just drive through and give the kids a quick tour through the window. We are trying to find some time to get in there to see the tree. Hopefully we can! Looks like you had a great time!

It snowed on Friday morning. We waited to go out. And yes, it was very chilly to us Californians. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
There was so much to see. It was the first time in the city for the girls, 16 and 14. We shopped until we dropped everyday. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Had some great cabbies. Took one trip on the Subway for the kids.
All in all it was a memorable trip. However, I don't think we will take the girls again until they are at least 20! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I went this last March and it was COLD! (as in single digits + a fierce wind = COLD!)

I stayed at the Hilton overlooking the WTC site. It was powerful.

But! Despite the cold and the emotions of the WTC site it was a great trip. I look forward to doing it again. I'm glad that you had a great time HummBebe.
