I saw the Line-X thread today and it really looks nice... I was wondering however, if anyone had done this with a Yellow H3 and what that might look like?? Also, any words on how hard it was to remove the grill?? I have my share of hours working on cars but I also know body parts can be a pain so don't want to proceed without at least some idea... Any photos or help would be appreciated...

since you don't have the chrome package, I think it'll look great on yellow. And you'll be the first yellow H3 in here.

Just a bit nervous taking mine off to do it however... Is it hard or complicated??

First you have to remove your brushguard. Remove 6 small bolts and carefully pull straight out.

green lantern beat me to it,
you'll need a long (maybe 6") socket extension and a 1/2" socket. the ends just pull out, be careful; and there are about four points it is held on with the bolts. you will see where they are when nyou start poking around. it took me about five minutes to take it off.

I would really like someone to try the Colormatch system from Line-X.

Are you going to use black?

If so are you going to do the fenders?

Has anyone done this in Dallas? If so, who did you use?

If the red is a close match to the victory red, I might try it, at least on the rear fenders and lower panels!
