ordered. how long?

Hi-
I ordered my H3 one month ago. (basic package, green exterior/interior with brushguard + offroad lamps + assist step + XM + sunroof + crossbar)
My dealer said he doesn't know when it will be delivered. I live in Boston. How much longer do I have to wait? At least I want to know if it was already built or not. My dealer doesn't give me any information at all.. If anyone has any idea, please let me know.. Thank you!

hey monkey your dealer should have a vin # for you a few weeks after you ordered that you can track by yourself. at least till its completed but you cant track shipping. if its been a month sounds like your dealer is jerkin you and lazy. ps, you buy it in norwood?

Monkey, do you have your order number from the dealer? If so, you can call Hummer customer service (1-800-732-5493) and they can tell you when your truck has been built. There is also a "target production week" and an "estimated shipping date." If you have the order number, they can tell you all this info. Once it has been shipped, only the dealer can keep you updated.

This is my problem: Mine was built on 5/27, but has not been shipped. It is on some type of hold, and nobody can tell me anything! Only the dealer can access this info, and he's not talking! I can only assume that it must be bad news that he doesn't want to share. So he just tells me he will check on it and refuses to call me back. I am so FRUSTRATED!

The customer service people have been very helpful. If you can get that order number, at least you can get some info. Good luck!

H3 mainer and srdfdyugfiug, Thanks a lot for your kind information! I really appreciate it. I hope my H3 is not on hold.. I requested roof offroad lamps on my H3, and somebody in this forum said they don't produce offroad lamps at this point. Is that true? Anyway, I'll get my order number right now. Thanks.

The way I understand it, the roof lamps are a dealer installed option, so the dealer would be installing them from his stock after the vehicle arrives. The only question is whether the dealer has them in stock. I heard that there was a problem with dealers getting them, but that may be straightened out by now.

I got my H3 now!!!! This is what happened: My dealer told me that i need to wait another couple of months to get a green H3 with maual transmission because manual transmission is on hold right now. So, I cancelled my order and shopped around my town and found a H3 exactly what I wanted except the manual transmission. I really didn't want automatic because it's so boring and girly, but other than that, all the options and color were exactly what I was looking for. So, I bought the green H3 with almost all the options I wanted!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!

I wanted a manual also, but my gf convinced me that an automatic would be better in traffic. Congrats monkey, show some pics.

Still waiting, dealer said should be in in 6 more weeks, second order now but we will get what we want, grey, lux pac, adventure pac, sunroof, and no chrome http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif its on the way my first order was 4/9/05 so I will hopefuly have the right H3 http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hi- I had ordered a manual trans, but manual is on hold right now, so I cancelled it. Instead, I shopped around and bought an auto trans H3. Since you ordered a Lux+adventure package, yours will be delivered on time. What I'm thinking right now is I may trade my H3 in next year for a 2007 model (which will have higher Hp and turbocharged) because I really want manual trans. (I don't care much about the 220HP because it is pretty good when I drive it)
It's good that you didn't order chrome. Chrome stuff looks ugly and cheap, especially the chrome wheels (which looks like wal-mart brand fake chrome-looking plastic wheel covers)
Anyway, good luck waiting! You will love your H3!! It's even better than my expectation! I LOVE IT!!!! (but i miss manual transmission.... sigh.....)

monkey way to go with the no chrome it does look cheap and gaudy. glad to see you left those guys and went to another dealer.
