Ok folks - here is a good one!
I wake up this morning to go get some things at the local hardware store, and when I went to unlock the H2...no feedback from the remote. So I assume the remote was damaged or something. I get the other one - same thing. WHY!
So unlock it by hand ( the old fastion way http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) and put the key in - oops, no start - but hey now the key is stuck - YAY!
Ok, so I grab the wives car and drive it over - here I am ready to jump the car when the alarm goes off...right when I connect the cables! LOL Now that I have got everyone in the area awake - I quickly press UNLOCK on the spare remote...alarm is off, and I return to the H2 and start it right up. It was pissy about it, but it started.
I let it run for a bit, and drive it all over the place...we will see how long it lasts.
Any ideas? When I returned home from a 30 min drive I used my Hella's a bit, but they are only 55W H2 bulbs in some black Magics. I have never had a problem before...Also I messed with the DVD and LCD screens...but everything was OFF when I locked up the truck. I just do not understand. I didn't lose any memory in the radio, or where the CD was playing. However radio was on, and I left the CD on last...so it is kinda odd.
Let me know folks! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If you searched the same thing as me (dead battery) then it's pretty easy to see why you don't have an answer. Too many possibilities! Stuck relays, bad batteries, stuck seat switches...
Remember the recent thread by Kate with her stuck key and dead battery? This was there, posted by HummerTech:
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">There are several reasons that a key may not come out of an h2. Here are the most popular 3 in order.
1. dead battery.
2. faulty ignition switch, usually accompanied
with ses light, trans not shifting properly
and maybe a few other weird symptoms.
3. a broken wire at the shifter assm. Every time the shifter is moved, it is moving some wires, and after they move back and forth a few thousand times, it can start to weaken those wires. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

LMAO! Happy Labor Day. I guess the HUMMER wanted the day off too. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Ok, It really isn't taht funny. It happened to me on my old 03. Bad battery. This happened to a few people. There is a thread about this somewhere on here from waaaaaaaaayyyyyy back in the day. The key getting stuck throuugh me for a loop when it happened. I thouhgt I stuck the wrong key in there at first (has a Chevy Avalanche at that time also).
So, if you have verified no acc's were left on( I'm sure you went through everything already) I'd bet you need a new battery. It that little light on the battery on? Green?
Other things it could be:
One guy has to replace his ignition cylinder/ ignition sensors.
Front seat control sticking
Alternator.
key stuck (http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6706011751/m/969103439/r/956105439#956105439)

Hope these may help.

OK guys I will go look at the delco green light! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I forgot about that.
I did make sure all things were off...but I will make another run though. I hope it is not the battery...I would not replace it with the same thing if it was. i have a rule...if it breaks and it is stock, change it to something better! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
You guys like Optima Yellow Top I see...I am going to be adding more lights, not sure if I need something like that just for those items. But maybe I will - because knowing me I will be adding a winch at some point! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Going outside now to check it out!

What is the rule for adding more lamps before you have to add a new/bigger battery?
I have the 2 55Watt lamps, and will be adding a light bar..probably the Hummer one.
A few here have had good luck with the Optima Yellow top. I just added Piaa's all over my GOBI, so we'll see what happens with them.:fingers crossed:

Oooooo. Intermittent electrical problems. Always a joy. Hopefully yours was just a one-time ordeal!

Well, I thought I figured it out with an idea of the DVD sticking on with a constant 12V...but no. Kill the key, it kills the DVD. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
If i need to go to the dealer for this I am going to have them upgrade the seat memory at the same time!
