Ever since this nut was supposedly kidnapped and the "perps" released the video of her bew hewing I called BS. Now that several deadlines for her execution have passed it's even more obvious it's cahoots.
Her abductors, a group calling itself Brigades of Vengeance, have said they will kill Carroll if the United States does not release all women it has detained in Iraq.
The 28-year-old freelance writer on assignment for The Christian Science Monitor was kidnapped January 7 in western Baghdad. Her Iraqi interpreter was killed, but her Iraqi driver escaped.

If she ever does get offed I'll maybe post an e-apology.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Isn't she on her third deadline now or is it her fourth?

having dealt with the press over there, it is more dangerous than the soldier, mostly because they are stupid. They think the "locals" respect their profession, The more we tried to keep them from the bad neighborhoods the more they wanted to go thinking we must have been hiding something. Eventually they tire of us protecting them and start free lancing.... Could not pay me to do that
I like this tid-bit from that link:
