Nice pics, what part of the country are you in and how much snow are you expecting?
I noticed you have after market chrome rims. Any concerns or problems with them pitting or anything due to the snow and salt on the roads? I just got a set of Helo Maxx 8's and I am debating whether or not to put them on now or wait for the spring.

I'm from North New Jersey. I see you are from NJ as well. I am a little worried about the wheels being damaged by the salt/snow. To prepair, I put a coat of polish on the wheels before I took it out into the snow. Not sure how effective that will be. I also spray the wheels w/ water and wipe them down as soon as I get home. And if anything happens, a good steemer should do the trick.

Several other people I talked to said the same thing. Go to those "you spray it type" car washes. I may do that because I am getting anxious to put them on. Check the thread on Local Events and click on H2 club strength in numbers and scroll down. They just started a NJ chapter of the Hummer Club. I am going to join.

If those rims start to pit because of the salt you're definitely going to have a major steamer.

Snow, what snow??? Here in Chicago we were to get 6 inches....had 24 hours of rain instead. My dog can predict weather better!
We have not had a flake in Chicago yet, and temps are 10-15 above normal. UGH

Give it time Perry. You guys get horrendous dumps of snow there. You'll be complaining in no time.

The chrome will be fine in the winter as long as you wax them once a week.
