Is it a testosterone thing to post all of your cars in your signature?

Most people here have h2's or either want one... but I just don't understand why people post all the cars they own (or leasing).

The list of cars is usually longer than the message. I've seen it for months but I'm just too polite to say anything about it, I think they are generally younger ones who just started with toys within last few years. At least we don't have those with lots of photos of cars as signature. Most Hummer owners here have or had far more expensive and exotic cars but chose not to show them. Most car forums have list of cars plus SIG's. IMO this site is cool, but its a little outdated. Please do not take offense to this. Check out Z06vette.com or vwvortex.com and you will see fourms that work really well. If people want this forum to take off it needs to be updated. Just my 2 cents.

If your list is impressive put it up! But please dont put up cars that are not worthy of mention. We all love cars i think and to be honest I love to see what other people dive. like the one guy on here has an M3 vert, M5, and an H2. He has fine taste in autos. If you dont care my advice is dont read it.

I don't list the cars that I have or the cars that I have had in the past but I can see why to list the other cars you own to give everyone an idea about themselves and see the difference or similarities in Hummer owners. Like someone else said here it gives you an opportunity to meet other people and gives you something to relate to. Remember one thing no matter if your previous car was an Escalade or Gremlin we still like the same thing and thats the H2!!! Theres no argument there or we wouldn't be here.

Z06_to_H2:

The layout of the Z06 forum is nice, but no better than this H2 site IMO. I believe PEOPLE/MEMBERS make for a great forum, more so than layout or aesthetics. The people and topics have drawn me to this site on a reapeated basis.

SJ, this forum is setup OK, but what I was pointing out by the Z06 site was the Sig's and list of cars that people put up, so that people could see what it looks like. Even the VW site is set up nice. I do like this site but I wonder what is up with some of the people on it. "What makes a forum great is the people" Very true. or I guess what makes it suck can also be the people.

MAC the reason I tradded the Z06 in was only becasue I got hit my a Dodge Ram p-up and it was never right after it. So I tradded it not as a money thing if you must know just did not want a f'ed up car. Just so you know I do love the Z06, but why buy another now when the C6 is comming out next summer? I will wait and order a 2006 C6 Z06. (if you even know what that is)JK

The reason I still go to the Z06 fourm is becuase they are a great bunch of men and women that love cars.

A BWM a kids car? Maybe, but I love the 3 and overall is the best car I have ever had or driven. I will buy another in 2yrs when the next generation comes out. 2yrs old and not one f'ing noise. H2 two days old and lots rattles everywhere. (but I like my H2 dont get me wrong)

Maybe Jason can create a link from your forum name so rather than posting the vehicles (or whatever additional information one wants to post) in the sig line you can click on that person's name and it hyperlinks you to a customized sig line with all the details. That way the posts stay smaller in absolute size. Maybe he could also add a flashin feature on the name which would indicate when a forum member has made updates to his sig.

And as for making the crack about the H2 being MAC's only vehicle- might I suggest you go to the photo section and look for MAC's first posts of his H2. That's a bit unfair...In past years, I used to be a school teacher, taught in the public school system, (California teaching credential K to college level) and believe me kids certainly CAN and DO disagree with their teachers. Kudos to all those who put up with everything they have to because they have a love for teaching...that's all it is you know, a love for children and a love for teaching, it's certainly not the money!

A Dodge Ram Pick-Up tried to pass me on the right heading towards oncoming traffic and when I went to pull into friends’ driveway he t-boned my drivers side door doing about 50mph. He said that he could not see the brake lights and turn signal because the car was too low. He was a blanking idiot. Oh well, it was only a car and I was OK.

As for MAC's house or cars I don’t really care.

Money has nothing to do with class or respect just look at all the rappers moving to the hills form the ghetto. THIS IS NOT DIRECTED TO MAC JUST TRYING TO PROVE A POINT, SO DON’T GET ALL BENT OUT OF SHAPE.

OK, now that I am back from a cruise to hell in Alaska (stay away from Princess cruises) I must admit I am a guilty party here. I do have my cars and truck in my sig, but in my other forums (none of which are as cool as this one) everybody does that. Yes, I am a BMW guy, but I love my H2 even more. If you guys want, I will syop listing my cars in my sig, but for me that is just normal for auto forums. I love this place, and never want to be an outsider, so whatever the hell you guys want is cool with me. And Z06 dude, chill out, this forum is all about fun and flaming on people that show up out of the blue. Just take it with a grain of salt, and you can trash on the next guy that comes around with stupid comments. Not that yours were stupid, in fact I agree, but that is this forum. These are all fun guys, even MAC, despite his odd world view. We love him anyway, and he adds a lot of spice to our group, especially ribbing on new guys. If you are really an H2 guy, just smile every day and know you own the collest thing on the road and have fun. THis is a forum to brag about your offroad conquests, your mods, your complaints, and anything else to do with the coolest truck ever made by man, so enjoy. Peace.

Purple prowler: I just got a 01 Mullholand addition Prowler drowve it down from Montana to So Cal through Yellowstone. My youngest boy an I put the top down and motored, it was a blast. It gets more attention than the H2, people smile, thumbs up, talk to you , we went into a restruant and came out to about ten people standing around it talking about it. How is yours holding upand how long have you had it?

Keep your cars in your sig. I though it was great when I read about your bimmers and they even stuck in my head when posting on this subject. Did you see that new CTS-V with the LS6 engine in it? It is rummored to be better then the M cars on the track. I say that will not last for long with the M3 getting the 8 and the M5 getting the 10 it will be all over and Bimmer will be on the cover of every Car Mag for years to come.

Do you like or 3 or 5 better?

PS You have great taste in cars and I would have never known that if they were not in your sig.
