Last time I checked, the Hummer 4-door was out before the Ford Sport-Trac and the Avalanche.
Nothing new. The SUT was NOT the first truck to use this idea. One could argue that Ford copied HUMMER in the early nineties for going with the 4 door pick-up idea. But if you have ever seen other countries autos you would see that the 4 door pick-up has been around a lot longer than even Hummer. GM makes or once made a 4 door long bed S-10 pick-up.
It looks more like one of those old Subaru Brats. I wonder if it offroads as good....

I don't think it looks at all like the Hummer SUT, but I do think the H2 SUT paved the way (in the USA) for Mercedes to come up with their own version. Notice the Hummer picture at the bottom of the article.

HX- The HX will be Hummer’s competitor for the Jeep Wrangler. It will be based on the Theta platform and will have a removable top and doors. It will also be the cheapest vehicle in the Hummer line-up, starting in the mid $20,000’s.

I wouldn't really class the H1 four door as an SUT, in the same way I wouldn't call the H1 wagon a SUV. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
The comparison that I was trying to make is that the idea was already around before the H2 SUT. Just because they weren't called SUT's doesn't mean the idea wasn't around.
