View Full Version : HUMMER happening @ Superlift ORV park Arkansas
Got a note from my dealer about a HUMMER happening near Hot Springs Arkansas on 01APR06. Is anyone here going? Anyone ever been to the Superlift Vehicle Park? Bout a 3 1/2 hour drive for me.....wondering if it's worth it.

It is definetly worth it!!!! I have been and it is tons of fun! I am sure I will be there I alsways go. Did you buy from Sunrise?
Yes, I did buy at Sunrise.
I don't have any UCP...do you think it's something I need at the park? I wish I could get the RC lift before going.

Can someone find out how many trucks are going.
Our local Jeep club is going to be there that weekend, so I might try to come also.
The note I got from the dealer says to RSVP. I just called him and he says normally they get 15 to 20 trucks. He says it is only the second one since the H3's came out so they are interested to see how many H3er's show. They say it's a good time. I think I'll go.

I was actually thinking of making a trip a little later this spring, but if there is a HAPPENING that is going to be there, I may be game. Does anyone have a phone number for Sunrise to RSVP. I too do not have UCP, is it a must?

Takes me about 2 1/2 hours to get to my dealer, but everytime I've gone to a Happening its been a blast. It's worth the trip!
BbyHmmr....thinking on bringing my dog (not slang for my cool friend, a four legger)....you think it would be a problem in the park?
Hope you won't make funna me still running stock 33 tires.

No the dog will be fine there, I couldnt really imagine why it would be a problem.
I was actually the only H3 with bigger tires on the trip last time and everyone did well!

Good, at least I'll get a chance to test out my towing capability.

Ok, I heard that a bunch of trucks broke and one went on a roll-back. (of course this is coming from Jeepers)
But, where's the pics and story.

The trip was great. Yea, two H2s broke tie rod ends but I'm not sure what a "roll-back" is. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the trip.
Here is the group taking off.

The first H2 to break their tie rod end right the middle of the difficult part.
I just happen to be the next one waiting to go up after the H2 has dug some nice holes.

Thanks for sharing the pics. The H3 in the pic along the power lines looks like it has a winch. Do you know if it does and if so, any info or pics of it?

All in all, it was a great trip. I don't have any pics of the second H2 that broke though. Definitely have to make another trip up there though. Maybe we can get more of the forum members to join us this time.
By the way Rough Country was there with both the 5in lift and the 3in lift. I think I may have convinced the wife of the necessity of the 5in lift after she saw it. Here are some pictures of them.

Yea, the green one with the winch is actually the Rough Country 3in lift h3 they had there. It has a tmax winch on the front. I'll try and find a pic for ya.
In this pic, the yellow is the 5in lift, the green behind it is the 3in lift and the black and blue ones are the stock adventure pkg height.

I don't have a pic of the front of the green one. But the setup is identical to the yellow 5in lift. just a different TMax winch.

The winch mount is going to be offered from Rough Country. It is a simple design of 1/4 steel between the two tow hooks and it has the "waffle" look of the front lower grill. It looks good.

Here is a better pic from Edd of the front of the green H3.

I want that lift (either 3" or 5") and that winch setup (in the zero bling 10,000# model). I heart that truck! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The Yellow RC with 5" lift looks like a monster with those tires. How did they perform?

I'm diggin the yellow 3 minus the chrome. I'm sure with hard wheeling there is still some rubbing issues but the Baja Claws look pretty wicked on there.
