Beware those of you that have, or are thinking about installing an electric fan. They are poorly suited for offroad use. Especially water. My electrics got fried and several blades were sheered off going through a mild water hole.
The truck's engine and trans became dangerously hot. It was a trying time getting off the mountain.
Thanks to Brooklyn, Zing and Spike. Especially Brooklyn for figuring the ground was bad.
This is a pic of a temporary fan going in place of the worst of the two. It was good enough to get us home to VA. The H2 is in the shop as we speak with the fan clutch going back on.
