Just noticed water dripping from the muffler after I had been out driving. I had been doing a few errands. Stoped at three different stores in town. Just local driving. When I got home, I noticed water was dripping slowly (like a leaky faucet) from the left side of the muffler.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks

condinsation from muffler , cats , or tube joints is normal. does anyone know where the water comes from that drips from small tube on passenger side of firewall looks like an ac puddle but happens when heat is used or nothing on at all . first time I noticed was after a pismo session and heard it dripping on heatshield .Its clear so not coolant

On the menu the thread only read as, "Water dripping out of my muff."

It's normal for a muffler to drip and spit condensation. All vehicles do.

True. But this is not dripping out of the tailpipe - it's dripping from the low point of the muffler itself. More than just a few drops too.
I'd like to think it's because she's all hot and bothered after I drive her (crazy) but not too sure. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It's from the weep hole on the muffler(bottom center) so the condensation drains out. I noticed that yesterday before I washed it.

Condensation? Unlikely after driving as the exhaust system would not be cold enough to still retain any condensation. More like the byproduct of combustion, H2O and CO2.

Shot of penicillin should take care of the dripping problem. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Dripping is fine. If it starts squirting let us know. You can probably make some $$ with that. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
