Well I tried to use the GMID but didn't get it however I qualified for $1300 discount with employee pricing. Not that 'm complaining http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif but I thought this type of discount didn't apply to the H3 models.

It does if you meet the requirements. The employee priced for everyone program that they had going on didn't apply to the H3 though. What model did you get? $1300 sounds more like the dealer was giving you a little off sticker and trying to make you feel better calling it employee price. Anything off of sticker is good though, congrats.

My Dealer said the H3 was not included in the GM Emp. Pricing discount.

Base Black H3 total price w/ sunroof, brushguard and flat running boards is $27537.00 after discount. Not bad eh http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif By the way I got the deal through ENCS ( Exchange New Car Sales )

It wasn't included in the advertised program for everyone. If you work for GM, or a qualified family member of someone who does, you can get the discount though.

Employee pricing is greater than GMID and employee pricing is greater than 1300 bucks. Dealer just knocked off 1300, and told a tall tale. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I ran into a friend who is the sales manager at one of the Chicago Hummer dealorships.. He said that they aren't giving off anymore then $500 on the H3's but would give me $3,000 off... That's just proof that they are making a killing off this car and can always take off more then expected.. He also didn't say anything about a GMID, etc.. Just how much he will give it off to me, even on an ordered one...

BTW just a public thanks to f5fstop for taking the time w/ GMID.

just got clarification as far as the discount. It's not employee pricing, it is the MILITARY DISCOUNT PROGRAM $1300 value.

There's not $3000 of markup in an H3, just for the record.

might be true on a base model, but incorrect on a fully loaded model. people are getting 3K or more off loaded H3s with GMID and GMID is greater than invoice.

OK I'll tell him I don't want the deal then... The nerve to give me off that much with no GMID!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

They also don't accept the GMID there.. But the model I wanted (will need ordered) is pretty much loaded...

do it if it feels right. and if you look at true mark-up from actual dealer price it is about 3k or more buddy

I think with gas prices at 3 dollars now, dealers are doing a little more dealing on H3s, even though they still are hot. I met a couple yesterday in Crystal City that got 600 off sticker on their Adventure Red H3! I still don't mind having paid full price, it was worth it having one of the first!
