While waiting to make left turn in a driveway on a busy street I noticed a kid running down the sidewalk, as he was passing buy he suddenly stoped right across from me. He yelled hey nice car. Just another day in my H2. You think you would get that in a Land Rover. I don't think so.

I yell lots of things to Hummer owners, but "Nice Car" is not one of them. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Shaggy,
You probably yell things like:
Hey I need a ride.
Hey can I borrow $2 for gas.
Hey baby wanna ride my S10.
Hey you bastards get your kegs out of the back of my truck I'm tired hauling it around while you wheel.
Is that what you were talking about?

I get more looks and complaments from kids than I do anyone else, I think its funny that even a 5 yr. old kid nows what a Hummer is. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Buck, he may also yell,
Where is 1222 Main street? I got a pizza I have to deliver in 5 more minutes or it's free!
Hey! That's my ex-girlfried in your passenger seat (or lap, depending)!
Can anyone give me a push? Or tow me out of this mudhole?
Nice TRUCK, not nice CAR!
Shag, you know I'm kidding, dude. Happy holidays. Now where's my extra cheese with double hamburger pizza, you bastard? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Yes, this is my truck. No, I will NOT help you move.

1. I am not too proud to ride in someone elses truck.
2. I live well below my means, so money is not an issue.
3. I use that line all the time, just not to the H2 owners that I know.
4. I am proud to be the bearer of the beer, but I still wheel even when I have a full load.

1. My gas milage is too crappy to be a pizza delivery boy.
2. I dont have any ex-girlfriends, but nice try.
3. I am enjoy going to the limits, if that means getting towed everyonce in a while...then so be it.
You guys are no fun, I need someone to be on my side every once in a while. (I actually do say nice truck to Hummer owners that dont give me the "I am better than you, because I have a more expensive vehicle" look).
I love driving my H2. People look around at it so often I find myself staring into space so as not to make eye contact and they can stare alittle longer.
I especially enjoy pulling behind a car at a stoplight and all of a sudden a child or adult in the back seat swings around to check out the rig.
Even better is when the front seat passenger lowers their mirror to check out the monster behind them.

Hey - watch it now...I drive a Land Rover...and I'm telling you right now that I ALWAYS get the "nice car" compliment, unless there's a HUMMER nearby!

I could think of a lot more things to spend 50K on than a POS like that.

No, I do not shop in the "other" store. I am just apparently not a very skilled shopper.
