Kinda H2 related!
Has anyone placed H2 wheels and tires on a 2004 crewcab 4x4 2500HD?
What kind of lift would you need to get them to fit?
Do y'all think a 3inch body lift would be the best way to go?
Would cranking the torsion bars give enough clearance, without jeopardizing the ride?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Rick, there are alot of guys that have put the H2 wheel/tire combo on their 2500HDs with no mods @ all. I'd recommend just tigtening the torsion bars & some minor trimming. I think they'd fit on my truck with no probs.
Here's a pic of them on a truck http://www.jayleone.com/truck/MVC-026F.JPG

You will need a substantial lift.
My dad has a 2500 Duramax 4x4. He is running 285 BFG ATs. They rubbed considerably at full lock when we put them on. He has done some minor trimming which helped. They only rub now at full lock in reverse.
The truck comes stock with 245s. That's a HUGE leap to 35s!

Thanks Guys...
I think we'll put the wheels/tires on, and then see what kinda lift is needed. I'll let y'all know how much we need!
