Glad to see some more european H2s! You must scare the daylights out of people driving that thing on the autobahn. I'd love to see a pic of your H2 next to a Mercedes A class or Smartcar. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

@BlingBlingH2
Whooohooo man, you are really cool.
Be careful, your fingers will freeze on your keypad.

@devilsfan
Yes, it’s funny to drive on german autobahn (highway). We have no speedlimit.
Everytime I can see wide-eyes in the mirrors of the cars in front of me. he he
The H2 ist the star on streets and parking places.
Here are only 35 H2’s in Germany – so it’s rarely.

@N2ITNSD
Kitzingen is 550km (340 miles) from Bremerhaven.

@HummBob
Yea, I want to have more chrome, but the shipping-costs from USA to Germany
are to expensive.
For a chrome-part of 200$ I must pay 150$ shipping.
Perhaps I will visit the USA next year again – with a big suitcase. :-)

Greetings

Should have had them fill the inside up w/ your chrome parts, what they can't see won't hurt them.

Hello Dennis,
the RC is fantastic. I bought it from ebay.
With Real motor-sound and my son is happy.
Description:
"Moves forward and reverses, steers left and right. Highly detailed from manufacturer's blueprints to look like a mini replica of the real vehicle. Authentic sounds include honking horn, revving engine and alarm beep when you lock or unlock the vehicle. Working headlights and taillights turn on as the vehicle moves forward and backs up. Doors, hood and tailgate open manually. High and low gear speed."

@KenP
You have got Eagle-Eyes and you are right.
My son tried to fight against a wall. The wall was harder.
We have just rapaired it.

Congrats man! Welcome to the forum, well, I should say it to me as well...
I have been driving my Lingenfelter H2 in Prague since May. ITS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Have you ever seen people faces when they see a big, black H2 going 140Miles per hour on a highway? This thing is really fast, 6.5 seconds to 60Mph, max. speed above 140Mph. And, unfortunately it doesnt even eat gas, it DRINKS it! But this is only disadvantage for me which is not very important, I spent 20k USD to make this upgrade. Now I have a car, which looks good, drives good, which is faster then most of cars here and of course, which is called HUMMER.

By the way, I just came from USA and I also bought for my son this awesome "small" Hummer H2. Its a NEW BRIGHT HUMMER H2, its copy of a real H2, bought it in WALMART for 100USD. Only problem had was taking it to the plane on my way back to Europe - 155USD extra baggege - awful. Anyways I love my H2 and my son loves his H2.

Did any of you European guys get a chance to visit the Essen Motor Show? I saw on line that the "Get Real" H2 with the tank treads was there. It apparently was shipped there all the way from Chicago, as the #1 publicity draw to the show. Any other Hummers there???

Phil and Dirk,

Welcome! Nice H2. Just curious but was it difficult importing the H2 and where do you get it serviced? Also, somone told me that in Europe Mercedes Benz makes a minivan. Is that true?

Congratulation to You Phil and Dirk.
It is great when We get a chance to start our kids when they are young to appreciate the real privilege of working and getting to own a dream machine like all of the H2 owners here on this site and being rewarded for hard work and risk. If You will set down with Him and explain what it cost and how long it took you to make the amount of purchase price he will begin the long walk to fiscal resposibily. That is what I did with My 2 girls and now they are grownup and You can hear lincoln penny sueel as i taught them what My grandfather did Me if You will take care of what You do with the penny's the dollars etc. will take care of themselves. What I have found is alot of the owners here are successful entrepreneur's or highly educated people that have worked hard to own the only true Dream Machine to Me. There are alot of cars I could have bought on the high end but for Me when I saw the first H2 commercial's of the Yellow and then the White H2's I was hooked and knew I would own one someday. It truly became My dream machine and I have not been disappointed. The greaest rig I have ever owned!!!

Right now just excited about My Magnacharger coming in and installed.
Well I hope You both have trouble free years as long as You have your H'2.
Enjoy

Importing is now no problem. We have some official GM Hummer dealers in Germany.
I bought mine from Geiger-Cars in Munich (the dealer who built the orange 600HP H2).
We have also official GM-service.

But a problem is to buy tuning parts or accessories. I bought something in the USA
(online), but to get it to germany is very expensive. A part with a weight of
10 pounds has cost 150$ shipping cost by UPS to Germany.

I want to buy some chrome/alu-parts, but i don't want to spend many hundrets
of dollars for shipping.

What Mercedes Benz minivan do you mean?
Mercedes is one of the biggest (or THE biggest) car company in germany. They
have some Minivans, off-road-cars and many many different trucks and special-cars
for fire brigade, military and so on.

Try this:

Vans "Vaneao, Viano and Viano Challenge"

Camper
http://www.mercedes-benz.de/content/germany/mpc/mpc_germany_website/de/home_mpc/camper_vans.html

Transporter (vans for business) "Vito, Sprinter, Vario)"

Sonderfahrzeuge (Special-cars)

LKW (Trucks)

and some more.

@Rick
right!

I love my H2 and my son loves his H2 and his place in my H2. ;-)

Greetings

Hey RFox

What year was it there? I live next to Essen and visited the motorshow each year except last.
The H2 is definatly catching attention here but people are nore likely to spend tehy time on the new Ferrari's DTM and F1 cars. I guess the place to see carsis Detroit once a year but if you are willing to see the Motorshow some time I#ll be glad to have a place to stay for you.

BigEagle,

Welcome...I got my son one of those RC H2's last year for his birthday. Those are pretty cool although they should have gave it more power. I'm sure your kid has a blast with it, mine does. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Welcome to the board, BE... glad to see you didn't leave your son out of the H2 lifestyle! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Having traveled (and driven the Autobahn!) in Germany, I would have LOVED to have been in an H2... but, parking -- that's a different matter! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
