Rear diff lock question?

I was wondering about the function of the rear axle lock. I was playing with it for the first time and it flashed about 20 times then went off. I tried it 3 times and it did the same thing. anyone run into this yet?

The rear e-locker wll only engage in 4-low lock. Even then it will open the diff. automaticly at 25 to 30 mph (stupid safety thing).
