View Full Version : Engine removeal due to rod failure 95 6.5 turbo converted to supercharged

I was under my brothers newly aquired H1 to look at the damage that a busted con rod did and it looks like the motor could be removed from below. I've already been told that it comes out like any other vehicle (although I know of 2 GM vehicles whose motors come out the bottom, Last model F bodies and all fieros) through the top but it really does look like less work to take it out the bottom.

Comes out the top/front.
Your's isn't a turbo, but the process documented here is pretty much the same.
