I had my wife drive yesterday while I ate some White Castle hambergers. She said she kind of liked driving the H2. In the past she has said she does not like driving it. She said if we get any big snow falls this winter, she wants to drive the H2 that day. She even said she might want a H3.

My girlfriend tries to take the H2 every chance she gets. For some reason it kind of bothers me, so I never drive the M5 anymore... I just won't let her drive it unless she has a really good reason. I love my truck so much http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Same here. That and when she gets groceries and I don't want to go with her. I'm draining my keg as I type. I guess she is driving it tonight http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

The sad thing is that it is "hers 2" once you get married. I'm so glad I'm not yet. I'm only 24 though. I am milking this unmarried thing as long as I possibly can. Damn women... (no offense to the women on this forum. You are all cool)

In the wise words of Howard Stern:

"Why do you need a piece of paper to say you're married when you're already together?

If you die, and you don't get a death certificate, you're still dead."

When we bought the H2 as a 3rd vehicle for "my wife and I". My wifes Tahoe "started to make weird noises" Funny it never makes any noises when I drove it. I have come to the conclusion that her Tahoe is making a HUM. With that said She took the H2 to a meeting the other night and I hopped in it the next morning to a wet seat. Seems that during the rain storm that we had the night before that someone left the sunroof wide ass open. When confronted she simply said Oh, I guess I'm not use to having a sunroof. Maybe it is time to sell the Tahoe and the H2. Does anyone have a Yugo sittin around that I can let the old lady drive.

Similar situation happened 8 months ago with my "our" Viper RT10.

Why do women get pissed when we don't let them drive our ****.

All I have to do is put the thing in the garage and my wife won't touch it. She's terrified of getting it in and out of the garage.

Of course, she has seen my GOBI rack rip the garage door down, the winch break through the shelves in the front of the garage, the door come down on the spare tire carrier, etc.

My wife has driven the H2 twice in the four months we have had it. And, actually I really hate to let anyone drive it, but get a kick out of her driving it and wished she did more often. Its really funny seeing a 4-11" woman getting out of that big truck.

My wife loves to drive it but she won't tell anyone. She gives me little hints at letting her take it out sometimes. I want he to drive it, I think she looks good in there! BIG-C

My wife stole mine the day after we bought it. She drives it more then me. Since I drive so much to and from work this arrangement actually keeps the milage down, prevents me from having to park it in crowded parking garages or parking lots where it will get dinged, and keeps her HAPPY!... I drive it when I am not at work. I like the H2 - Her's too, but will never tell her that... she would just say "His too".

My wife needed to take our daughter to Gymnastics. My H2 is always behind our Tahoe because it won't fit in our garage so she asked to take it. Of course I said okay. She proceeded outside to see this thing completely coated brown in decomposed granite. The inside was completely coated too because I drive with the windows down on some of our outings. Basically she couldn't even see out of the windows and bitched about the brush rake down the sides too. Anyway, she took it because they were in a hurry. Last night she admitted that it really grew on her and EVERYONE was looking at her, not because she was driving an H2 (too many on the road now), but rather, a chic driving an H2 that had clearly been on a hefty trail. The moral of the story is: The H2 is much more appealing muddy, dusty, scratched pretty much used for its intended purpose and yes I would love to see my wife drive it off-road. That would be pretty cool!

No offense taken, either. Remember that I AM the one who ripped his garage door down. Alec will give me flack for it and a number of other idiotic moves I've made that you guys don't even know about, I'm sure. Too many for us to ever post.

I traded the wife's Suburban for the H2 so it is her car but I get to drive once in a while http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
She loves it and doesn't want anything else but the H2 to drive.
I get 20 questions every time I ask to drive it.
The yellow has grown on her and now would like to trade for a yellow 04.
I came home from a rock climbing/rappeling class and it was covered in mud , since I was late for my class reunion I drove it and changed when I got there.
I won for newest vehicle and a couple of weeks later the article was in the local paper.
We had a women come up and ask if she could TOUCH it, she saw the article in paper.
The Boyscouts led the local parade w/ our Honor guard and since it's recruiting time I got to pull the enclosed trailer behind the H2, nonstop comments for the whole parade.
Everything from wow to it's so big to these scouts are prepared to rich Boyscouts.
BTW next weekend is our first Hummer Happening in 10,000 acre ex-strip mine and the wife is going to get to drive, this should be FUN.

Duramax, you are near my home town of Columbus I believe. Lots of rain out there so the parents say so I am sure the trails will be nice and thick for you guys! I am now wheelin' in the dusty dessert without a trickle of water but maybe Steve and I will get lucky this winter and get a little El Nino action to mud things up a bit!
