So I went to REI today (my second home). i spent about 30 minutes in there. I came out to find a sticker on the back of the truck just below the window.
It said American Excess.
WTF is this all about? No that big of a deal, but when I pulled it off, it left crap from the sticker on there. Anyone else get this crap yet? What is American Excess?
More than likely some dumb ass tree hugger group or something.

I dont know what the people at the REI in your area are like, but the people that shop at the REI by me are the people that will put those kinds of stickers on your truck.

Dang, Shaggy's been busy lately!
You can get the sticker residue off your truck with Goo Gone. Works great and is safe for the paint.

I've been thinking that it would be cool to have a shock system that toasts their ass if they touch the truck. Any legal issues with that in Colorado? ~2ZRESQ

I too have thought of this. If we were in South Africa it would be legal. But not here in the states. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Tim,
This (http://www.bumpertalk.com/bumpertalk/BC213A.html) is what you need to keep those hipies away. I like this one (http://www.bumpertalk.com/bumpertalk/BC265A.html) too.

Know where I can get me one? I like it.
I got one the weekend after Christmas that said, "Oil Slut". I just added it to my collection of fake parking citations and other stupid stickers.

We just got an influx of FNG's at work. While out on a call, an ambulance crew stopped by to fill in while we were out. This new little bastard decided to write "I love cock" and "I'm a fag" in the dirt on the liftgate of my H2. Not sure if he thought I wouldn't find out, but his partner ratted on him (might be since he's a friend of mine). So after they get a call later in the day, I call them on the radio and ask them to stop by the station. I don't think he knew that I found out. He comes strolling onto the station like he never did a thing. His happy day ended when I wrapped my fingers from one hand around his windpipe, put him in a headlock, and started squeezing. The moron has been working here for a month and is on probation for another 11. I asked him if he knew why I was choking him and he shook his head no. I squeezed a litte harder and then he nodded yes. I then asked him if he had any idea who was going to clean my H2. He nodded yes. I then asked him if I was his new daddy. Once again, he nodded yes. I asked a couple more smart assed questions and then let go. He kept looking around like he was going to try and tell. Unfortunately for him, both the witnesses to this are good friends of mine and were laughing their asses off. I explained it to him in plain english...in order for me to not rat his little ass out and have him lose his job, he needed to lick his grafitti off of the back of the H2. He said no at first but when I started walking towards him he agreed. I only made him lick off one of the sayings. Then he washed it for me. I explained to him that any time my H2 gets messed with I'm coming to find him. I then went inside and called my batallion chief to explain what happened(also a friend of mine) because I figured he'd probably snitch. He of course did and was told that vandalizing another employees vehicle while on probation was grounds for termination. As for the alleged battery that ocurred, he was asked to find some witnesses to it...of course nobody saw anything. I own that little bastard now. Probably couldn't have pulled it off on most people but this little bastard is 5'5 and about 180 pounds of lard. I'm 6'5 and 230 and was in a really bad mood. We'll see if anything else happens.
Now that is a funny story Marc. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I see many more washings in his future. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Timgco,
When I was in Taos NM some tree hugger put a "D" sticker over the H in Hummer on my tire cover to spell "Dummer". I guess he had a good laugh (nothing else for him to do in life). I figure that no matter what, a portion of our population are uninformed, lazy, non-productive idiots. The worst thing is that our military is defending them without any appreciation on their part.

Tim,
Rumor has it that a STOCK H2 owner put that on your rig.
That's not so bad as having spit running down the driver side window. The Libs in Oregon sure can get jealous. I do support the second ammendment and I pitty the guy who does it next. I will say it hasn't happened in a year or so. Must be picking on someone else.
I got a friend that calls it the Chummer.
The poor guy just bought a Tahoe. What a bummer. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
