Got a screw in left rear. Went to a Goodyear Corporate owned store at 15th street, Panama City FL. Guy said "Corporate policy no Hummers, something about liability". Store had customers so I politely asked if they serviced corvettes. Yes they do. I then went 4 miles west(same rd) to an Independant owned Goodyear store on Tyndall Pkwy Parker FL. and received great service. Patched tire and I recalibrated pressure monitors.Anybody else run into this GOODYEAR NO HUMMER svc STUFF?

Hey Mark..if you rotate or put on new tires there is a procedure to calibrate the tire pressure sensor monitors at each wheel. Check out the owners manual.

Yes, I ran into a similar situation with a tire rotation. I usually buy the lifetime Balance and Rotate from Sears. When I went to get my tires rotated they said they did not work on Hummers.

Wow. work on Corvettes with runflat tires that require special equipment for safety, and not a Hummer tire which requires nothing special. Sounds like the guy had no idea what he was talking about, or afraid his hoist would not hold the weight. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
All Corvettes have tire pressure sensors, and those low profile tires means you can easily crack a rim.
His store, he can do what he pleases. (Maybe he was a tree hugger in disguise?)

Resolved. I emailed Goodyear Corporate. They called and said Goodyear policy applied to H1(Size)and not H2 or H3. Local dealer apologizes for turning me away. As a stockholder I will go back and ask an executive to follow up on this communication failure.
