Has anyone replaced the stock sub in the rear yet?
If so, which route did you go? New sub only and stock amp? or did you replace the whole schebang?

I did a JL Audio stealth box (which if memory serves me right has a 10" in it) powered by a 500 into 1 JL Audio amp.
It can make the side mirrors shake visibly, make the headlights dim, and make everyone including myself want to get out of the truck.
A 300 into one probably would have been enough in retrospect.
Get yourself a good boxed sub. Even an 8" will be more than enough if you give it a good solid box and nice strong amp. Do not under power the AMP with a little 40 or 80 watt amp!
Under all other more normal listening... the sub changes the way everything sounds. I get so many comments from people who ride in my truck about the incredible bass quality, even at low volume.
Get the sub... you'll love it.
My 2 cents... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes, I have used JL in the past matched with a JL 500/1 amp and it is unbelievable!
But help me understand: are you saying you put a "JL stealth box" in your H3? or anothe vehicle? As I didnt think they were out yet.

bpark, are you thinking of replacing the facotry sub with a better one keeping it in the same location? I'd like to go that route when I get mine if it's possible.
