WOW - I have been so happy for everyone getting their call and knowing that my new arrival was due in sometime soon. Well, much to my surprise I just got MY call - it's here - a full 3 1/2 weeks ahead of schedule! Soon to be off loaded and on it's way into the service department for final delivery. I may not be able to do the official pickup until Monday as the service department is crammed...how am I supposed to sleep now??? Maybe at the dealership? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I can!

Congrats. I was going to say that you go over and sleep in it but at the dealership should work too. Just think, if you show up tonight with a pillow and blanket they just might work a little harder to get it ready for you. Can't wait to see pics.

Good idea...BUT the sales manager is who I've been directly dealing with... I'm just glad he called to let me know! He did say to call him in the morning...so maybe he will try! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Congrats to you too! Also to Darth! I am pacing this house like crazy. My son came home today and when I told him mine was in, he said yeah he saw a whole bunch at the train drop off. I didn't even know where it was! I would have been waiting there for my first peek! (I guess that's why he didn't tell me earlier!) http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Isn't it fun that we can all get so excited about our H3's arriving. I think that's what makes us a little different.

Even had to take some shelving down because of the door being so much higher than my previous vehicle.

Thanks. It is a long story, but to make is short, I went up to the local dealer to see what they would give me for a trade in on my 2003 Corvette that I had been trying to sell on eBay. The dealer floored me and offered me more than I was asking on eBay.
I would have did the deal right there and be driving a Hummer this weekend; however, he had nothing in stock that I wanted. However, he had on order for stock a White Luxury with the off-road suspension, and Ebony/Morocco Leather, XM radio, sunroof, trailer package, and I realized last night it also included the Chrome Package, so I gave him a deposit.
He said it was shipped. Next morning the salesman called, and the truck driver asked if it would be ok to drop ship five H3s on Saturday while they were closed, mine is one of them.
Monday they will install the brush guard, mud flaps and anything else I can think of to have added before I pick it up. I was going to have the marker lights installed, but I need to make some calls early Monday morning to find out what is going on with those lights. I may have to wait and install them later.
Over the course of the next few months, I'll install the rocker protector, those little steps that attach to the rocker protector, and the underbody protection kit.
I hope I have better luck selling the Jeep on eBay next week.
H3Witch, sorry to steal the thread.

Have fun, I did...I got so excited when I got mine, I twisted my ankle in the delivery area...
Make sure the skid plate is tight -
Window moulding are not loose and rippled..
Fan belt tight and don't squeek
Besides that, it's a super truck

No problem...I can understand your excitement. Didn't sleep a wink last night myself! I am getting ready to head to the dealer this am and see if there is any chance of getting it today - if not, at least I can get pictures! I ordered the ebony/morocco and never even saw it, except in pictures. It should be awesome!
Thanks to all for the help, insight and hoorays - it has made the waiting time bearable!!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

i hit the dealership here in edmonton to order my H3 yesterday afternoon. it completely floored him that i wanted slate blue(finally decided) we went through everything i wanted (guess i won't be getting the spot lights now), and then he hit me with this. IT SHOULD BE IN AROUND JANUARY. i think i blanked out, i recall not putting down a deposit, but that's about it. i assume there was some mumbling. time to start calling around western canada. not expecting much, but i've gotta try.
just my two cents from up here in the north.

Dam mine was just ordered yesterday. I feel like Charlie Sheen in Platoon.
King “Hey Taylor how long you got left 300 and what?”
Taylor “32, 332 days”
King “Laughs”
Crawford “I can’t even remember when I was 332 man. You gotta like count backwards or something like you got 40 days in. Think positive dude.
