OK, here's the deal. Two weeks ago at Paragon I had a funny metal banging noise. I couldn't figure it out and even went so far as to go under the truck with a hammer to bang on any and everything to find the problem.
While having the Fabtech recall done I had the guy check for things. When I had an alignment I had that guy check things out, too. Nothing.
I thought it might have been the Hi-Lift shaking, but no. The Hi-lift handle, no. Then I thought the Hi-Lift's foot may have been shaking so I zip-tied it down, but that didn't solve it.
Yes, the tire carrier was secure, but I did check it again just to make sure. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
There was no sound coming from the front and there was nothing felt in the steering wheel or the seat. Just sound.
Lastly, I didn't here the noise driving on pavement unless it was rough. Just like North Carolina highways or speedbumps at the local shopping center.
The problem persisted until this afternoon when I finally figured it out. Can you?
You have until tomorrow night. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
