Actually, other than the looks, this is true to the GTO tradition of a large engine stuffed into a moderately priced mid size coupe. That was the formula in the 60's and the current unit held that tradition. The problem came in when Pontiac decided the Holden/Grand Prix parts bin was all that was needed to recreate a classic name plate. The result is a decent hi-po unit with no character at all....
