Went wheelin today with a few H3ers that are members here on the forum. Had a lot of fun. Everyone was super cool and a Big Thanks to Mike B for checking everything out beforehand and for the invite.
Here is a group shot of Mike B, HIHUMMER, and myself. I always wished I got more pics afterward, but I'm always having too much fun to stop and take pics.

Well it depends on where you are coming from I guess. Don't get me wrong it was a lot of fun, but if you guys were planning of coming down sometime, I would suggest we go to Uwharrie, Tellico or some place like that. This area was about a mile long and was the power company's line easement.

Did you wheel outside Raleigh? That's only about 4 hours from here. Let us know when you go again.

I could add something witty and sarcastic here, but I won't. That is actually her husband. HI was just out of view on my pics taking her own pics. I hope she got better ones than I did.

Yea, it's actually just North of Raleigh. I think it was close to Wake Forest, but I could be wrong. Mike could tell you more about the area. We will definitely keep you posted on any future events and you do the same. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
That sounds great. But I don't want to drive around on a 1 mile easement after that drive.
I was just joking about HIH. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
BTW, more pics please. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

KenP,
Man it was fun and it was pretty difficult terrain. We rescued a 4wd Z71 (HI pulled him out) and a Dodge Ram, all after alldunn left. There was a guy in a Wrangler that was stuck and had to winch himself out--it was fun watching him try and get himself out; he kept trying for at least a 1/2 hour (alldunn should have a pic). alldunn even pulled me out of a large ditch because I had bottomed out.
All the Jeep guys and other 4wd'ers were hoping that we would get stuck. Every time we parked someone would come up to us and ask if we needed to be pulled out--I think we gained alot of respect for H3s and H2s that day after they all started getting stuck and we just crawled through deep mud and steep, rutted hills.
It was fun, but wouldn't be worth you driving 4 hours, we need to set up a ride with much longer trails. Anything up your way worth the drive?
FYI, HI is definately not a guy.

I didn't get any stills of the Jeeper, I just got about 4 mins worth of video. It's not really worth editing for posting or I would do so. HI should have more/better pics and am sure she will be posting when she is able to join us again.

Funny thing about this Jeep, the guy who got it stuck just sold it. The new owner was picking it up the next day! Hey buddy...you might want to get a new clutch!

What in the hell kind of camera did you use? A cell phone camera! I'm actually just as guilty of using my cell for all my wheeling trips. It's just so much easier to download and send them!
Looked like fun!
