Just had the roof marker lamps installed by the dealer during my first oil change yesterday. Man do they make alot of noise!!!! Its a whistle @ 45-50mph, if I had known it was that bad I would have never got them done. They look great so I'm not that pissed. Does anyone have a solution to this noise they create? And don't say duct tape.... Thanks Pictures coming very soon.

DO A SEARCH. THERE WAS A DEALER RECALL/FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM.

If installed correctly, you shouldn't have any substantial wind noise. Take it back to the dealer.

Back in October I had the same exact thing happen to me. I was driving on the highway and once I got to 55-60 I heard the same noise, I thought the whole windshield was going to fly in my face. I called the dealer from my cell phone that second and brought my H3 in the next day. It turned out to be nothing that big of a deal thank God. All it was was the flap part that touches the windshield where the lights are wasn't glued down properly, there was a gap between the piece and the windshield. That created the whistling and humming noise from the wind getting in between it. It took them no time at all to fix it and it's been 3 months since I had it done and it's been perfect ever since.

I spoke to the dealer and he said that the lights I got (from ebay) may have been the old style which exhibited this problem. I proceeded to tell him that I know there is fix for this problem out there, even for the trucks that had the old light kit installed had to be fixed, correct? He will check on it. Any input here guys.

Like I said I had the exact same problem and all it needed was some glue or whatever it is they use to keep it down. I would have them check that and see if that's your problem also.
