That mud hole is great. It has been pretty deep at times.

There was a group of trucks just driving back and forth in that hole last summer, saying they were lost, do not know how to get back to the front gate.

Pops is going up Hummer Hill in this pic. His drivers side front wheel is just touching down after bouncing over that rock. Its a bummer about the timimg of the pic as just a moment before both front tires were in the air.

Hummer Hill was REALLY rough this time around. AS we went up, the CD changer ejected one of the CD's without anyone touching it! Never had this happen before or since. That trail was really, really rough.

Yep, there is another perfect example. Pops, quick questions. You have FT HD tie rods, correct? Did you do the Cognito steering supports also?

The Baltimore OHV Group was a non-factor for the most part. We did see them occasionally and did have a couple of delays, but nothing more than a few minutes.

Despite the carnage :(, Saturday at Raush Creek was lots of fun. Compared to Paragon it was a lot more pristine. It looked fresh and new and the trails had great variety. I look forward to wheeling here again. One of the coolest things to happen at Rausch Creek was a local couple with a 3-week old H3 met us at the staging area. They didn't know us and we didn't know them but they had heard rumor that we were coming and hung out in the off chance that we would show. I'm pretty sure that they had a great time because they were grinning from ear to ear all day and you could see they had cought the wheeling bug in a big way.

Monday at Paragon had to be the most exciting day, despite it being low key and only having 4 trucks. I was leading for the day and we had just done Hummer Hill and then the Mountain Top trail when we decided to break for lunch near some big rocks that looked good. Well, I guess someone else decided that they looked good too because when Pops, HI and a bunch of the kids started climbing up the rocks a Rattlesnake started buzzing, saying no way, these were his rocks. I was 50 feet away, at least, and could still hear it buzzing away like crazy! Suffice it to say that we did NOT eat lunch on those rocks!

I've got about 4gb of pics to process. Once I do I'll have them up right away.

I'm sorry CP that you and Ken couldn't make it. We really did have a great time. And to everyone else that did come I can only say thanks for joining us. I had a great time and it was great seeing old friends again and getting to meet new friends. I can't wait to see you all again soon!

I met the person with the 3 wk old H3.His name is Leon and he had a blast. He didn't know where you folks were from.He said everybody was great and he had a wonderful time.I steered him to this site so you will hear from him soon as he get back from the west coast.

Man, not sure I would drive from the west coast just to wheel at Rausch Creek but to each their own ;)

He doesn't have them, unless he snuck them on and didn't tell anyone.;)

Yes. If you look at the 5th and 6th pics on p. 1, they look to be stock.

Re: May Rausch Creek & Paragon Photos

It appears pops has FT tie rods not stock ones. I think Ken was referring to the Cognito supports.
