Crash - Summertown is not quite middle TN, but I would be up for that trip. It's about 4 hours from Gatlinburg. When are you thinking about?:beerchug: |

I haven't thought about it to much yet.. I'd like to take a couple of days, if I still have vacation left.. There are actually a couple of ORV Parks around that area... I'll have to look 'em all up again though... |

Crash - Both of my houses are in the mountains and have a great view of Mt. LeConte. My store down there does make it off of the tourist. Once you become a homeowner down there, you find out local secrets such as roads that don't show up on the maps, so you can get around all of the tourist traffic. I think the place you are thinking of over here is Coal Creek at Windrock. It extends over into NC. Then there's some little park over in Oak Ridge, I can't think of the name of.:beerchug: |

Re: Master Flow MF-1050 Air Compressor Installation w/ pics
I was in Costco the other day and they had a MasterFlow MF-1052 compressor for $60 or so. Went online to make sure it was the right one, and I'm going back to pick one up. I've been wanting onboard air ever since JP started this thread :D
Here's a pretty good thread on the MV50, MF1050, MF1052 compressor family. It kinda rambles but has some good info http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=64004 |

Re: Master Flow MF-1050 Air Compressor Installation w/ pics
My wife used it for the first time the other day when a co worker had a flat and needed air, they were suprised how quick the tire filled up.(:giggling: I think it was a honda with 13 inch rims:giggling: )
When I was at the radio installer to get a new onstar module the guy thought it was a factory compressor (probobly because of my H3 sticker on it) I think for the $$ its the best compressor out there.:beerchug: I havent seen JP around did he get rid of his 3 ? |
Re: Master Flow MF-1050 Air Compressor Installation w/ pics
It always brings a smile to my face when I can just pop the hood and air up my tires. Used it the other night to put air in the tires of my wife's car. :D

Re: Master Flow MF-1050 Air Compressor Installation w/ pics
Well, my little red compressor that could finally gave up on me. After 3 years of service it bit the dust. I went to use it today and it wouldn't turn on. Checked the fuse and it was toast. Replaced the fuse and compressor still wouldn't fire up. :raar:
A dead compressor makes it kind of hard to air up one of these. ![]() :OWNED: Might look at getting an ARB or Warn compressor, or maybe getting a power tank. |
Re: Master Flow MF-1050 Air Compressor Installation w/ pics
Mines been working for almost 4 years.
I would check the switch and make sure powers getting to it . |
