Colin, after looking at those pics, your truck has really changed. Were'd all the dents come from?

Hmm not too many on my truck, the big one one the d-side was a fence post lol (dont ask) the rest are from various rocks and trees.

Here's one I got Sunday. I didnt realize it until later that night at the gas station b4 I went home. I figure it occured coming into the creek on Fains Ford off the ledge or taking the "fun" line into the creek on 5. I remember hearing a bang on both drops but never noticed the dent until later, so Im not real sure which place it happened.

Knocked off the zerk fitting, also some scuffing around the pinion yoke. Probably when I high centered exiting the creek at Fains Ford.

Spun the d-sahft on some rock

Gas Tank

Skid

Keep wheelin your sliders will look like this

No doubt. Wait till you tellico guys get to Moab. You can go the entire day without seeing anyone outside of your group.

Sunday was like that, only saw a few others. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Just like ParagonAP.

Colin, you kick ass, brother. Glad you came looking for us, glad you found us, glad we wheeled together. And riding in your rig across the water taking that crazy line was a blast. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

It was! I wish I could do it every day! I always wheel Tellico though, and enjoy it. But I havent been to Moab or any of the like. I have registered for our National TTORA Takeover which will be in Hot Springs AR this year at the Superlift OHV Park, (last year was in Pa, at PAP) so Ill get to cut my teeth on some new wheelin grounds. Courtesy of the Offcamber guys, here is a pic of the traffic jam AFTER it had been relieved. This is a pic of when we were actually moving.

Those Heep guys must be idiots Theyre the same ones that held us up when we went up. What are they doing turned around already? They sure caused a mess that day.

Tellico trips are a pretty common occurance. I'll post up here next time we go in case anyone wants to tag along.

OldHiker 03-16-2006 10:53 PM

Hey everyone, finally have my connection again. Had to download almost 300 posts. I am in Ft Lauderdale area now. I am really bummed we did not do Sunday but Mona was in a lot of pain.

By the end of the day on Saturday my frustration level was very high, I was to cranky to do anything on Sunday. I really feared a repeat of the chaos Saturday. I guess in retrospect, I would arrive Saturday and wheel Sunday through .....

The a-holes on Pirate really got to me. But we really did talk to a lot of good people there.

Anyone interested in an April event? Are there any parks in VA? We can try Rausch Creek.

By the way, my shields are still on. Taking them off tomorrow and really don't expect to see any damage. We'll see.

Here is a decent shot of what the root on trail 5 did to my door. It creased it from just under the window at the front downward to the bottom rear of the door. I slid into the root, being stupid, and then goosed it again came off and slid into it again a little further down the door.

Door still opens, window still works, so it stays and qualifies as rub rash.

You'll never really see it. It's so slight I just caught it at the right angle.
