Whooooa. I didn't know Tah2oe had pike blood in him.

Dang, it's spreading faster than a DRTYFN strain of syphilis.

There's a nice Mexican restaraunt across from the Gonzo. But not everyone is gonna eat there.

Hey hey hey, I was at the Rubi. I just came in the other way and waited for you guys above Rubicon Springs. I got to hear all of the stories from the people who had passed you people on the trails as they came up the hill. I even talked to you on the CB. Then I went to my cabin at Tahoma, got dinner at the Swiss Chalet, and had 2 bottles of 1997 Opus One, after 3 martinis of course. How in the hell did I find that cabin after that?

So the next morning I drove to the top of Rubicon Springs again and no sign of anyone on the radio or on the trail. I was a little hung over though. So I came back out and drove back to the Bay Area.

Can someone give this guy a ride-along. He wears diapers so you don't have to worry about seat stains.

Is this the most accurate info for Moab? How many rigs are going roughly? More than 3?

You could safely estimate that there will be more than 3 Hummers in Moab that week.:fdance:

With three posts, I think we need to interview him first....

1. Where are you from?

2. Have you ever been offroading before?

3. If so, please list your experience here______________________________.

4. What type of modifications, if any, have you done to your H2?

5. What made you decide to attend this event with this group?

6. What days will you be attending?

That should do it for now....:giggling:

Aren't you driving to Alaska from Florida? Will you be in Utah during that time? FYI, The week before we arrive is Easter Jeep Safari, and there aren't any rooms in town.

BTW, Bebes question #4, doesn't apply to H2's. They don't need to be modified to run the trails in Moab.:D (that was for Sewie)

I'm from Seattle originally. I just happened to search on this site for Utah and found this thread that's been building for months. My off road skills are pretty weak at this point as I haven't even had time to really drive this tank. That will change in about two weeks. I should be able to be around Moab for a few days to see what's up. If someone uses my ride as a toilet she better be good looking or we might have a problem. Is that to be expected from Jeep owners? Should I be glad I didn't roll into Moab a week earlier without knowing what was going on? Like I almost did.

Just thought I would throw this out and see who is interested. Mona and I are planning on going to Glacier Park in Montana after we leave Moab.

Anyone want to join us?

Last years trip was the first time I'd ever done anything more than running though some mud or doing basic trails. Everyone was awesome and more than willing to answer questions or sop you up/down an obstacle. I made sure I bought Adam dinner the night we got into town since he is the tie-rod changing king. You'll be fine.

You do know that the Going to the Sun road that goes through Glacier isn't open until around May or so depending on the snow levels.
But you can have fun on either the west or east side of the park, but you will have to take US 2 to get to each side.

West, remind me to talk to you about the summer run thru the Rockies that I want to set up. We need some maps of Montana and Wyoming. I have Idaho. :)
