Stop it. You're making me blush.

I wouldn't blush too much. The picture of you straining like you've got a turd coming out sideways was taken underneath my truck. :giggling:

I can head as far north as Idaho Falls with you, but I can't go the whole way.:( (maybe) I'll have to figure that one out.:) It'll probably still be closed, but it's beautiful. Westhillsat is from Montana, he can give you advise.

I've watched about every Moab video I could find in the last week and it's clear that some of these runs are not going to be on my agenda, at least not this year. What's the scoop with Lions Back? I would imagine it takes one day for everyone to make that climb? Just looking for some insight.

For those that have done it, it only takes a couple of minutes, I just watch from the bottom and take pictures.

Can you make that run solo? or do you need a spotter? I assume turning around is the challenge either way.

OldHiker is not going to do Glacier now, he wanted to go across the Going to the Sun road.

It won't be completely open until May/June depending on the amount of snow and weather conditions. They don't start plowing it until some time in April.

You always have to watch out for those hitchhikers, like the one on the left in the second picture :jump:

Since the info I have received is that the Going to the Sun Road is closed, Glacier is not worth the drive. Not sure where we will head.

What do you want to see? Jackson Hole, WY is kind of cool. The week after Moab is the first week the lifts close, I think. But that means there will be less tourists, and lots of neat artistry and furniture on sale. Hmmm....might have to check it out.:D Keep your options open but that road is really up there. (in elevation)
