In the near future I'll be taking nominations for the 2007 ride-a-long picture. :D

BTW, going first (up or down) sucked. It really pays to have a line to follow.

It's even more exciting when you are there by yourself!

for me turning around at the top and cresting over the first part where it throws you off camber.

My leg was shaking on the way down from pushing on the brake so hard for so long. :jump:

In regards to the Lions Back question:

An email to Charles Wells directed me to call the Moab Chamber of Commerce.

The gal that answered the phone at the Chamber didn't know anything about it and had to ask around.

"The property below Lions Back has been purchased, the Insurance does not cover any vehicles across it. In essence, it is closed."

Oh well, Thanks Rocks!

Okay, here's the scoop as I "heard" it. Unless someone can find a newspaper article this is what I've learned about Lions Back.

In regards to the Lions Back question:

The gal that answered the phone at the Chamber didn't know anything about it and had to ask around.

"The property below Lions Back has been purchased, the Insurance does not cover any vehicles across it. In essence, it is closed."

So, I called the Gonzo Inn. The gal that answered informed me that "Yes, it is closed". "The same owner that owns the Gonzo has purchased the property and is proceeding with developing the land around it."

THERE YOU HAVE IT!:crying:

Do you think anyone will mysteriously steal your gas again from your roof cans and then refill them when you go to the gas station to pump more in and they are full again?

I can't believe this gets pulled off twice a year with NO support from HUMMER. That they don't get involved in some manner to support their customers and the brand is beyond me.

Wouldn't it be great if HUMMER sent down a couple of rigs with some spare tie rods and CV's for the 2's, and diffs for the 3's?;)

Even a photogragher or two to get some stills and video would be nice.

Anyway, I just can't believe they haven't volunteered to send a cuple of people to tag along at the minimum.

Look at what Jeep does and what Toyota has begun doing. I'm floored.

Thanks!

I should have said the that little pop off cap/cover that covers the nuts/bolts. :)
Better would have been that they mounted the spare tire at the wrong angle.
