Make sure your battery is fully charged, and disconnect the On Star (remove fuse "Info").

I too have electrical gremlins in my 2006. The only aftermarket electrical item is a backup camera dealer installed when new that displays on the nav panel. I'll be driving along and the red OnStar light will come on, or the red neutral light under the 4 W drive buttons will come on (even though the buttons have been replaced), the lights come on during the day and the nav panel turns to night black, or I'll get in the Hummer and the clock has lost two hours, but it starts right up. Then once in a while the battery will go dead if it sits two days, so I just keep it on the battery tender in the garage now.

That's crazy, Twilight Zone for sure.:notallthere:

So, more crazy stuff for me...... I was able to get it out of 4LO/Lock to normal 4HI..... then decided to f*k it..... If I pinched a wire while offroading and hitting a big dip I might UNpinch it by going again. So I did lol

Aaaaaaaaand so far it worked!!..... its crazy, I went and play with some mud.... went in deep water half way through my doors, I jumped a few bumps and vuaallaahh..... Lights are gone since Saturday and have not come back at all............. it's so freaking weird. I guess whatever was grounding that power block is back to it's place, I have no idea how it fixed itself:jump:

Am no expert but IMHO it may very well be a sensor wire that has come lose behind the dash as a result of the sudden shock when you bottomed out. It will cost you a couple of grand to locate it and reattach it. Basically your :OWNED:

Well with the exception that the lights haven't come back since........ I'm no expert either but it fixed itself the old fashion way..... bang it out.:D

It most likely was a lose ground somewhere for the BCM or a powerblock, whatever it was it has taken a break.

So no........... I'm not....... :OWNED:
