I can hardly wait to get my H3. I'm gonna take it out back and climb our steep 3 degree uphill grade to the back of our property. Wow, the excitement of it all!!! I've even purchased a set of gold plated tongs to pull the field mice and moles from the tire treads when I'm finished. Lol

I often wonder why Hummers tend to get blinged out more often than other SUV/Trucks. Is it the looks, or is it the name?

I think a Caddy or Chevy full-size with chorme and big wheels looks better.

IMO, the H3 is particularly well designed for off-road use. I wish more of them would be used off-road. 4-wheeling on a trail is something everyone should try once.

37yr old female here and I've never been 4wheeling, but my husband and I do a lot of primitive tent camping in state forests, so we're out on dirt roads pretty often. I purchased this H3 not only cause I always loved Hummers but I felt that this one was more practical than the H2 for everyday use, yet still perfect for our frequent backwoods camping/fishing trips.

Now though, I am very interested in getting some off-road training (I don't want to make a stupid mistake my first time out) and getting this baby out there where it was meant to be.
The pics in my photo album are just some we took while camping and driving through the forest, it's only a month old, had it on the dirt last week. I can't wait until I can add some pics of a real off-road adventure!
Well, that's my 2 cents on this topic. Hummer has brought the world of off-roading to me and I'm looking forward to what's next.

I am getting the H3 because I love the looks and it's capabilities. I have never been into off roading but am looking forward to trying it out. As Dennis mentioned, most H1s and H2s don't go off road but to each their own. Your comment didn't offend me but when I first read it I thought you were a troll. Just came across like so many troll posts. I am glad you enjoy the H3 and are using it to its full potential. I hope more H3 owners do the same but they can do whatever they want with their vehicles. I personally am not into the bling thing either but not sure how a chrome fuel door is going to change the vehicles off road capabilities. Anyway, to each their own and post so pics of your H3 wheeling as we would love to see more of them out there.

Kinda funny to read your post. As my son and I were returning from the mall in my new H3, we were passed by a redneck in a lifted 4X4 covered with mud. My son asked about it and I told him that's what people who can't afford cable tv or golf lessons do for fun.

Luckily the guy missed the H3 when he spit his chew out the window, otherwise I would have had to have the valet take it to the carwash while my wife and I were at the wine tasting.

I did notice some of the beer cans bounced out of the back when he hit the curb on a turn, but I didn't see a splash so I'm sure he emptied them first. I think he must have been in a hurry to get home and watch the NASCAR race.

But, as you said, my opinion shouldn't offend anyone unless it describes them. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

i bought my H3 for cargo space and to deal with snow...its a lot easier to load skis or camping gear (and people) in an SUV as opposed to a tiny sport coupe.

i've gone off-road with my old jeep when i was younger and when i feel like doing it with the H3 then i will. until then, it serves its intended purpose well.

...and if this matter upsets you this much then you need professional help!!!
