That is exactly what I have been dealing with. Only mine sticks out basically the entire width of the winch + the roller fairlead.

The approach on this bumper seems negligable. Mainly because the fairlead is higher than any vertical approach you'll be making. And if it's a slant, then you would simply have to turn a few degrees left or right to crawl right up it.

Maybe you could get us a true profile shot Cinci to compare next to a stock H2 profile shot?

Det,

Ask and ye shall receive . The second shot is as close as I can get to a profile shot of a preinstallation photo. I wish I had one with the winch installed. The removable winch setup extends another 12" past the stock bumper. While this bumper appears to extend approximately 3" farther then the factory bumper, the part that extends appears to be raised farther off the ground than with the factory.

Actually the stock bumper hit trying to go up this obstacle. I haven't had a chance to try it with the new bumper but maybe R2 has.

I can't post pics to this thread, but I have a couple of R2 with and me with my multimount I'll post -R2 may have better shots of the difference- it's huge on approach.

Hmm, from the looks of this picture, the Road Armour seems to impact the approach angle less than my receiver mounted...

It's actually almost better than stock.

FrgMstr,

Your experiance is exactly what drove me to spend the money for a new bumper when I had already shelled out over $1500 for the winch, x-line, and rear wiring setup. Below is a picture of the results of not removing your winch on the level three trails at the training facility at AMGs plant.
