The Nike connection is between GM, BFGoodrich and Nike. The tires have the traction influence of a Nike running shoe, the fabrics have their influence and the backs of the seat have an integrated Nike backpack that you can pull out to go hiking, etc......whatever, it's a typical "concept vehicle".

H2 Bill,

While you were at the show did you hear anything about whether the H3T would be offered as extened and crew cabs on top of regular cab?

Yes, actually the gentleman in the picures that I took (I forgot his official title) spoke prior to the unveiling and said that the "truck was the first model of the H3 to be designed" I think because of the appeal to the age group of the entry level consumer. Go to this link and click on the Hummer Video and he discusses this.

Thanks for the link. A full length carbon fiber belly pan, I wonder if that will make it to production. I hope they keep the turbo charger. Even with 225 HP the normal I5 is going to have trouble pushing around 4600 lb.s of H3T.

Boy that first guy liked to hear himself talk. After the first minute or two I was wishing he'd shut the hell up and show us the truck!

Yeah, he is Mike Giavanni (sp?) the General Manager for Hummer GM. He was actually very nice. I met him after the fanfare and told him that it should be a success if they keep the production model as close as possible to the prototype (I'm sure that I will influence him alot!). He was a real down to earth guy though.
