Same here. Luckily I live near a cheap exit on the interstate.

$4.10 per gallon, in germany , cheap isnīt it?

GLBLWARMR 03-30-2006 11:49 AM

2.80 reg over 3 for super.

We pay 1.03 per liter...and there are aprx. 3.7 liters in a gallon so I guess I'm paying just under 4 bucks for regular gas.

I lived in Germany a while back when I was in the Army. We were lucky to be able to get gas on post at a lower price. I feel for you guys.

But then again, you've got PERFECT roads and the Autobahn.

That's what they tell you, but we have refineries here and it costs less in rural araes 200 miles away. Seems to me it is priced at what they think the market can stand, that and how many billions profit they want this quarter... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Just like anything else, it's all a matter of supply and demand! The more the people will pay for it, the more they will charge! The nicer the neighborhoods, the higher the price. Go to a bad side of town, and it'll be cheaper!

It's $2.49 in Salida, Coloado (I try not to look)

HummerNewbie 03-30-2006 01:43 PM

$2.54 around here

I'm sure being on the interstate had something to do with the higher prices, but I found it interesting.

Groing up in the area, i always noticed that gas was cheaper in MO than in KS.

JMVH2 03-30-2006 02:16 PM

$ 2.49 for regular at Port Huron Michigan

DDWH 03-30-2006 02:22 PM

Reg is $2.51 at Costco and Reg $2.80 at Chevron by my house. Cheveron is .15 -.20 cents cheaper in the hood!

I just don't look anymore. I pull up to the pump throw my gas card in, fill'er up and drive away. I guess if I don't look it is my own way of not having to deal with reality.

When I lived there I always tried to buy gas in MO though I lived in KS. KS has higher gas taxes so it is usually cheaper in MO.

I think you're confusing gasoline with Tequila.

JetEyeNite 03-30-2006 03:21 PM

In case you didn't know(of course you knew....)
you could try www.gasbuddy.com and enter your zip code.. only for US and Canada..
