The dead pedal is the space on the left hand side where your left foot rests. It's where you push hard to push yourself back into your seat when cornering or whenever you want to stick in your seat. I wish we had a little more room there too.

Yes... The brake and gas are a little close together. At first it really pissed me off. I almost cut the corner of the brake pad off. But after a couple of weeks of driving it... Now I hardly notice it. The pwer seat control is a little close, yes... But I never need to adjust it once I'm seated.

I also own a Porsche C-2 (911)... The Hummer is as fun driving vehicle as the Porsche is. (obviously for different reasons) I guess that's why I don't feel the need for speed in the Hummer... I can always do that later...

I would say the biggest problem with the H3 is there are way too many bling options for them.

Apparently you missed the .

There actually isn't a true dead pedal in the H3, just an empty space. This was discussed on here when the H3's first came out. A lot of people, including myself, were complaining about it.

Congrats to dad. If he likes it now, wait until he gets it off road. I get impressed every time we get them in the woods.
